Our Events

At the beginning of each season, STEM MAU conducts an exhaustive and orderly process of interviewing, which places special emphasis on selecting the most suitable individuals for the specific jobs and responsibilities in their respective committee. It is part of the process to fit each member's experience, skill set, and interests to the job that they will be doing, ultimately leading to the success of the organization as an entity. From personal interviews, we assess the applicants' academic ability, their capacity for teamwork, and whether or not they would be effective contributing members to the collaborative atmosphere of their committee.

It's not just our aim to set members into effective positions, but to identify the people that have leadership qualities, analytical minds, and a deep dedication to the purpose of STEM MAU's. This careful selection ensures that all the committees function at their optimal best, with the members complementing one another flawlessly to achieve shared goals. By creating a team of exceptionally talented, enthusiastic individuals, we ensure that STEM MAU retains its reputation for excellence, innovation, and development throughout the season.

At STEM MAU, we have a strong commitment to instilling close relationships among our members in order to complement the intellectual challenges of our program. We develop outings within our institution that allow members to meet outside of class and to relax while also developing cohesion and teamwork as well as offer opportunities for fun, recreation, and social events that help members build camaraderie and strengthen communication within their team. Such activities help build a team, that is more confident, motivated, and driven to succeed in all endeavors.
